The Try Compare site is free to use, any charges applicable to any policy you arrange after using the site will be advised by the insurance intermediary or Broker concerned.
Once your details are submitted you will be contacted by our panel of brokers who will provide you with quotations for your insurance, this will be by telephone and also in some cases via email and SMS.
Our panel will provide you with quotations based on the information you supply. It is essential that all of the details and answers are true and accurate and that all relevant information is disclosed. Failure to provide such information may lead to your insurance being invalid and insurers may refuse to indemnify you in the event of a claim.
Try Compare does not check the information you enter into our system. The policies offered are solely reliant on the information entered by you.
It is important that you read all the documentation provided to you by the provider including their terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to inform the provider of any discrepancies. Failure to do so may result in your policy being considered void.

In our capacity as a data controller, we do not collect any Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data).
In the event we are appointed as a data processor by a third party to filter, process, remove or destroy documents or information in any physical form ( be it paper, disc, memory stick or otherwise), such documents may contain Special Category Personal Data or information relating to criminal convictions and offences. We do not copy or retain any personal data contained within any documents so processed.
2. How is your personal data collected?

Try Compare may contact you via email and/or SMS to remind you about your upcoming renewal around the anniversary of when you last completed a quote form on our website, this will give you the opportunity to receive quotes again from our panel. Change of purpose
We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

Time limit to respond

Legitimate Interest means the interest of our business in conducting and managing our business to enable us to give you the best service/product and the best and most secure experience. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
